Paralegal (undergraduate) role in Brisbane Government team, supporting Administrative Appeals Tribunal matters with mentoring and professional development at Moray & Agnew.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to lawyers and legal secretaries in the Government team.
  • Preparing briefs to Counsel.
  • Preparation of general correspondence and court documents.
  • Compilation of bundles of documents for Court filing.
  • Summarising records.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Performing general administrative duties.
  • Assisting primarily with Administrative Appeals Tribunal matters.
  • Working a 12 month maximum term contract, minimum 4 days per week.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Law undergraduate status in the penultimate year of study.
  • Strong academic record and a passion for the law.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
