A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A READY-MIX CONCRETE PLANT MANAGER

As a Ready-Mix Concrete Plant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our client's plant and building supply yard. You will perform opening duties to ensure organized and efficient operations. Throughout the day, you will supervise yardmen, drivers, and dispatchers, scheduling their duties and overseeing execution to ensure high-quality work, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction. You will also interface with customers to sell additional services, assess their needs, and provide solutions, fostering positive relationships within the community and supporting business growth. Your satisfaction comes from running an efficient team and making customers happy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior management experience in the industry
  • Ready-mix concrete knowledge and experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate goals and expectations to a team
  • Strong ability to balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Honest, dependable, and reliable
  • Ability to establish rapport with customers and coworkers easily
