Overview

Are you a natural leader with a passion for veterinary care and team development? We're looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our well-established and highly regarded team in Tamworth. This is a shared leadership role, working alongside an experienced manager to support a large and skilled team that services both small animal general practice and referral caseloads.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing clinic workflow and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a large, diverse team of veterinary professionals
  • Coordinating rosters and processing payroll
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and providing ongoing staff support
  • Handling reception and administration responsibilities
  • Supporting our after-hours and on-call service coordination
  • Participating in hands-on nursing duties, including surgical and medical care
Qualifications and skills
  • Proven leadership experience and a passion for team development
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence in leading within a high-paced, multifaceted environment
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Tech-savviness (RX Works experience a bonus)
  • A solid understanding of clinic operations and business management
  • Background in veterinary nursing highly desirable
