Position Title: Liaison Manager – (Part of Management Trainee Program)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Liaison Manager to act as the key interface between our local operations and our Chinese OEM partner(s) in the fast-evolving mobility sector. This role will be critical in bridging cross-border communication, ensuring operational alignment, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business growth, service excellence, and strategic partnership goals.
Responsibilities- Strategic Coordination & Partnership Management
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between local teams and the Chinese OEM headquarters and regional representatives.
- Translate business needs, project requirements, and timelines across both organizations to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
- Coordinate joint initiatives, product launches, service rollouts, and operational escalations.
- KPI Monitoring & Performance Tracking
- Define and monitor core KPIs for mobility services (e.g., fleet utilization, downtime, customer satisfaction, SLA adherence).
- Compile regular performance reports and dashboards for both internal stakeholders and OEM counterparts.
- Identify gaps and lead cross-functional problem-solving to improve operational outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Issue Resolution
- Facilitate alignment across operations, product, supply chain, and service teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or misalignments between the local operation and the OEM.
- Coordinate translation of technical, commercial, or strategic information as needed.
- Cultural & Communication Facilitation
- Ensure cultural nuances and communication styles are respected and interpreted effectively in cross-border settings.
- Support business meetings, negotiation processes, and site visits involving Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Project & Process Management
- Track joint project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support implementation of operational improvements and ensure adoption of best practices aligned with OEM expectations.
- Help local teams understand and adopt OEM-led innovations, processes, and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, International Relations, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in liaison, partnership management, or operations roles—ideally in the mobility, automotive, or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with Chinese OEM business practices and culture is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is essential.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPI dashboards
Project management experience across cross-functional teams
High cultural intelligence and diplomacy
Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication
