McCabe Transport is a Road Transport Company based in Unanderra. McCabe Transport has been in operation in the Wollongong area of New South Wales since 1996. We are bulk haulage carriers of Industrial waste, scrap steel, gravel products and agricultural products providing services not only locally but both interstate and intrastate. We are NHVR and Truck safe accredited.
We are seeking a bright, energetic, highly organized individual who is passionate about trucks and allocating and is ready to take this opportunity to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
What You'll Be Doing- Allocating trucks daily to meet changing customer orders and schedules
- Communicating with drivers and construction site contacts to ensure on-time, safe deliveries
- Problem solving on the fly when things change (as they always do)
- Supporting a busy operations team with customer service and logistics coordination
- Has experience in allocating a fleet
- Thrives under pressure and can juggle changing priorities
- Communicates clearly and confidently with both drivers and customers
- Brings strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a high-pace role
