Role: Site Engineer (Electrical)

Duration: 12-months initial casual contract (open to Permanent arrangement, hiring on long-term basis)

Location: Canberra ACT

Project: Renewable Solar & BESS projects

Working hours: Monday – Friday (10 working hours per day, you will get to go home every night)

Start date: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities on-site, including solar PV systems and BESS components.
  • Develop and maintain work packs
  • Assist in the creation and review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure their proper implementation on site
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and electrical standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between the site and project office.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of site experience in electircal engineering with solar farm and/or BESS projects
  • Familiar with work packs, ITPs.
  • Familiarity with industry and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work on remote project site.
  • Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered. (Australia , PR Holder, or Valid Australia working VISA).
