Overview

Area Manager / Agronomist – Central NSW

BioAg is a supplier of natural phosphate fertilisers and a manufacturer of biostimulants, established in 1999 with a focus on soil health and sustainable agriculture. This role is to service and grow the portfolio in Central NSW, managing an established broadacre, pasture and horticultural distribution network while driving new business growth in emerging markets. The position reports to the General Manager and is autonomous.

BioAg delivers a scientifically proven range of specialty fertilisers and liquid biostimulants to practical farm outcomes, with commitment to long-term soil health through non-synthetic fertilisers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand a well-established horticultural product portfolio through contact with customers and the reseller network.
  • Develop new market share within the pasture, perennial horticultural and cropping systems.
  • Conduct on-farm support, technical training, and product education for resellers and growers.
  • Drive demand generation through field visits, grower meetings, and trials.
  • Achieve territory sales targets and manage your expense budget effectively.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Horticulture (or a related field).
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in grower or retail-facing roles, ideally in viticulture and/or tree crops.
  • Strong technical knowledge in broadacre and/or horticulture agronomy.
  • Understanding of the rural distribution network and a sales track record.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, commercially focused and passionate about soil health and sustainability.
  • Australian Citizen and Current Australian Driver's Licence.
