The Opportunity

Due to growth opportunities we are seeking a self motivated and technically skilled Area Manager / Agronomist to service and grow our portfolio in Central NSW. The role is autonomous, reporting directly to the GM and focused on managing an established broadacre, pasture & horticultural distribution network while driving new business growth in new emerging markets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand a well-established horticultural product portfolio through contact with customers and the reseller network.
  • Develop new market share within the pasture, perennial horticultural & cropping systems.
  • Conduct on-farm support, technical training, and product education for resellers and growers
  • Drive demand generation through field visits, grower meetings, and trials.
  • Achieve territory sales targets and manage your expense budget effectively.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Horticulture (or a related field)
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in grower or retail-facing roles, ideally in viticulture and or tree crop
  • Strong technical knowledge in broadacre and/or horticulture agronomy
  • Understanding of the rural distribution network and a sales track record.
  • Self motivated, results driven, commercially focused and passionate about soil health and sustainability.
  • Australian Citizen and Current Australian Driver's License.
