What will you be doing?As the Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the brand across Australia, driving growth and nurturing retail relationships. You''ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to expand market presence and ensure retail partners are empowered to deliver the brand promise.
You will- Lead the rollout of the retail sales strategy, driving growth targets and revenue
- Identify and secure new retail partnerships across multiple regions
- Onboard, educate, and train retail teams to elevate product knowledge and brand representation
- Develop long-term relationships with retail partners, acting as their key point of contact
- Collaborate with marketing to implement in-store activations, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform sales strategies
- Travel interstate to visit existing and prospective partners, delivering face-to-face sales and training
You're a confident, professional, and commercially minded sales leader with charisma and the ability to influence and inspire. You thrive on building relationships, enjoy travel, and have a track record in driving business development or retail sales growth.
You''ll bring- Proven BDM, account management, or retail sales experience, ideally in baby, juvenile, or premium consumer goods
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to hold strategic conversations with retailers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to influence and lead
- Organisation, systematic reporting skills, and an eye for detail
- A passion for premium, well-presented products and elevated brand experiences
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently
- Competitive base salary plus commission to drive performance
- Fully reimbursed car and travel expenses, including tolls and logbook mileage
