This Australian distributor represents a design-forward juvenile brand built on legacy, safety innovation, and modern aesthetics. They partner with retailers to deliver superior brand experiences across Australia, elevating industry standards and creating memorable experiences for both retailers and families.

About the Job:

As Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the brand across Australia, expanding market presence and nurturing retail relationships. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive growth targets and revenue.

  1. Lead the rollout of the retail sales strategy, leveraging your commercial acumen to expand market share.
  2. Identify and secure new retail partnerships across multiple regions, capitalizing on market trends and competitor activity.
  3. Onboard, educate, and train retail teams to elevate product knowledge and brand representation.
  4. Develop long-term relationships with retail partners, acting as their key point of contact for all business development needs.
  5. Collaborate with marketing to implement in-store activations, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives that drive sales and engagement.
  6. Analyse market insights to inform sales strategies, staying ahead of consumer trends and competitor activity.
  7. Travel interstate to visit existing and prospective partners, delivering face-to-face sales and training.
Your Profile:

You're a confident, professional sales leader with charisma and the ability to influence and inspire. You thrive on building relationships, enjoy travel, and have a track record in driving business development or retail sales growth.

  • A proven BDM, account management, or retail sales background, ideally in baby, juvenile, or premium consumer goods.
  • Strong commercial acumen and exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to hold strategic conversations with retailers and build lasting relationships.
  • The ability to work independently, travel frequently, and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • A passion for premium, well-presented products and elevated brand experiences that resonate with customers.
