Role

The Corporate Accounting Manager will report to the Group Reporting Manager and will play a key role in ensuring that internal and external reporting is accurate, timely and compliant with accounting standards and disclosure requirements. You will lead the Corporate Accounting function within the Group team, driving excellence in financial reporting and contributing to the organisation's overall success.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Group on technical accounting matters such as new accounting standards and their impact on Computershare; respond to technical queries from regional finance teams.
  • Lead small improvement projects for the Group and participate in larger Group projects as part of the finalisation of the Group's finance transformation project.
  • Assist in preparing the Group's half-year and year-end financial statements, including key technical disclosures.
  • Lead HQ accounting functions, month-end reporting, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
  • Oversee accounting for share plans across the group.
  • Business partnering, month-end accounting and annual statutory financial statement preparation for the charity "Change a Life".
  • Build relationships with direct reports, provide coaching, and identify training needs while managing risks within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in a large ASX-listed company or top/mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial accounting and working with external auditors.
  • Degree in Business/Commerce with accounting or finance focus.
  • Member of CAANZ or CPA.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/ AI IFRS) and demonstrated application.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work under time pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using Oracle Cloud EPM or Fusion is highly desirable.
