Executive Level 2 (EL 2) – Ongoing

Salary: $146,942 – $170,725 per annum

Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Lead a diverse team of up to 40 dedicated personnel across multiple sites in Tasmania and across the 4 research stations within the Australian Antarctic Program.
  • Represent Supply Chain Operations across internal and external stakeholder groups (including external agencies, regulators, logistics providers etc).
  • Drive the continuous improvement and uplift of people, processes, physical assets and systems.
  • Anticipate and establish priorities for the Supply Chain Operations section in support of seasonal objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice and direction relating to the Supply Chain Operation's capabilities and capacities.
  • Manage capital and operational budgets efficiently and responsibly.
  • Exercise sound judgement and decision-making to navigate complex operational risks.
  • Support organisational transformation through adaptive leadership and effective change management.
  • Champion a safe working environment.
