About the Role :

In this role, you will operate a tractor fitted with a flail attachment to mow drains and support the upkeep of our roads and drainage systems. If you are experienced with road construction equipment and passionate about working in a community-focused environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Specialised Equipment: Drive a tractor equipped with a flail attachment to efficiently mow drains and maintain drainage infrastructure.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform tasks in strict adherence with safety protocols and traffic management guidelines.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in the construction and maintenance of roads and drainage systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance professionals and contractors to coordinate operational tasks and support community infrastructure projects.

Essential Qualifications and Skills :

• Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
• QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent
• Current Traffic Stop / Slow and Traffic Management Implementation competencies (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in operating plant, particularly tractor / slasher / Flail Mower
• Current HR Heavy Rigid Truck Licence is desirable
