We are interested in Operators who have knowledge and experience in a variety of plant and equipment. In exchange, we offer a competitive rate of pay, a supportive working environment, and new equipment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operating a range of earthmoving heavy plant machinery in a safe and effective manner including but not limited to excavator, dozer, moxy, loader, compactor, roller, laser bucket, dump truck, etc.
  2. Preparation, positioning, general care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment as needed.
  3. Monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation and identifying issues or defects.
  4. Excavating, loading, transporting soil, gravel, and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company and contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
  5. Operating vehicles and equipment following training, instructions, operating procedures, and company regulations.
  6. Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
  7. Demonstrating commitment to environmental policies and procedures.
  8. Maintaining a professional image, cleanliness, and organization of the work area.
  9. Completing required paperwork such as maintenance logs.
  10. Continuously learning and developing skills necessary to operate machinery and equipment in the plant.

Qualifications:

  1. Extensive experience (4+ years) with capable precision work.
  2. Current operator tickets, licences, or statements of attainment.
  3. High understanding of the importance of health and safety.
  4. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
  5. Willingness to work away on different project sites across Australia.
  6. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery and equipment.
