About This Job

Bardia Public School is a large K-6 school which proudly sits on Dharawal country in a growth area of South Western Sydney.

We have a strong commitment to delivering excellence in literacy and numeracy through explicit teaching methods. Our engaging curriculum is designed to ignite students\' passions, offering a variety of extracurricular activities that inspire them to explore and develop their interests.

With an enrolment of approximately 960 students, we recognise that every individual contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our community. This includes a high percentage (approximately 68%) of students from various linguistic backgrounds (EAL/D), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and students with additional learning needs being supported within four support unit classes. Our innovative learning hubs enable all classrooms to engage in team teaching and flexible learning spaces, for high quality curriculum delivery.

Our exceptional staff are a dedicated mix of experienced and early career teachers who bring a wealth of enthusiasm and dedication in creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment. We deeply value collaboration, taking a team approach to differentiated learning, including High Potential and Gifted Education and Deadly Burray\'s initiatives. By promoting the wellbeing of all students and cultivating a school culture of high expectations, we endeavour to advance educational outcomes and foster a more equitable society.
