About the role

Estia Health Melton South is a warm and inviting aged care home located in a peaceful residential area, close to local shops and public transport. This 107-bed home provides a variety of care options, including respite care, permanent residential care, dementia support, and palliative care. Residents enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor communal areas, a hairdressing salon, library, and dedicated lifestyle spaces designed to support wellbeing and connection.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, join us as a Residential Aged Care Manager (Head of the Home), where you'll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

This is a rewarding leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact—driving quality care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the smooth operation of our home. Each day will be spent creating a home residents love, as you lead your team in delivering care second to none. Your role sees you:

• Finding the best way forward for our residents and people.
• Ensuring smooth operations by maintaining efficiency and upholding operational safety standards.
• Ensuring business continuity while achieving revenue targets.
• Inspiring your team to perform and grow.
• Strengthening community connections for mutual benefit.

You'll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management. You'll also have:

• A background in aged or medical care
• Spent at least five years in a management role
• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Worked with a number of different systems
