HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and is seeking several permanent part-time Specialised Carers to support clients across the Kyogle region.

Our specialised carers receive a work mobile phone, paid travel time and kilometres. We offer flexible days and times, with weekend loading if you choose to work weekends.

About the role

In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently at home, directly improving their quality of life. Travel to clients' homes using your own car is required, with payment of $0.99 per km plus paid travel time.

The care work may include:
  • Providing personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Helping around the home with meal preparation and light cleaning
  • Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication management
About you
  • You relate well to people and are patient and solutions-focused.
  • You may have previous aged or community care experience or are looking to start your career in aged care.
  • You hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable, insured car (minimum third-party property insurance).
  • Ideally, you have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If not, we can help you obtain one.
  • You are flexible to meet the changing needs of home care clients.

  • Hourly rate of $31.31 to $34.12 plus 99c/km, paid travel time, and a mobile phone
