HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking several permanent part-time Specialised Carers to support clients across the Tweed Heads region.

Our specialised carers receive a work mobile phone, paid travel time and kilometres. We offer flexible days, start and finish times, and weekend loading if you work weekends.

About The Role

In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently and improve their quality of life. Travel to clients' homes using your own car is required, with payment of $0.99 per km plus paid travel time.

The care work may include:

  • Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
  • Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication
About You
  • You relate well to people and are patient and solutions-focused.
  • You may have experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care.
  • You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third-party property insurance).
  • Ideally, you hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If not, we can assist you in obtaining it.
  • You are flexible to meet the changing needs of home care clients.

  • Hourly rate from $31.31 to $34.12 plus $0.99/km, paid travel time, and mobile phone provided
