The Position

  • Coach senior leaders in their safety behaviours and programs to drive safe operations.
  • Manage and lead a large portfolio within our business.
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents to drive a rigorous approach to root cause identification and close out of corrective actions, and ensure the incident management database is maintained.
  • Initiate and administer safety improvement, education, and achievement/monitoring programs for workplaces within the regions.
  • Support and maintain company certification to Australian and International standards in accordance with the external HSEQ audit programme.
  • Develop relationships with clients to demonstrate how the company's operations and programs effectively manage their risk and add commercial value to their operations and business strategy.
  • Assist in tender preparations and presentations to customers as required, including development of Management Plans.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyse safety performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reporting to the business.
  • Assist with selection, onboarding, and management of sub-contracting companies and suppliers.

The Person

  • Proven track record in leading and improving safe operations, including the ability to influence senior leaders to implement HSEQ standards and procedures.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring HSEQ programs in a multi-service environment.
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and/or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Experience within a trades environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships across the company and stakeholders, including sub-contractors, clients, and industry bodies.
  • Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis (preferred).
  • Experience with rapid global subcontractor management software (preferred).
