The opportunity:
To support the Guest Services team and Supervisors in day-to-day operation and team management as well as assisting Marine Sciences Animal Adventures operations.

Your day to day:

• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the office and provide clear direction to the team, motivating team members to work in a harmonious and professional team environment.

• Participate in team member development, including performance management and mentoring as required, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality is maintained.

• Ensure the office is well presented at all times, including displays, maps, signage, back and front of house areas.

• Ensure daily staffing levels of the department are adequate to accommodate the expected daily park attendance figures and liaise with Workforce Planning as required.

• Ensure forward planning in conjunction with the Guest Services Supervisor for roster building and recruitment to ensure adequate staffing levels.

• Follow up on guest complaints or requests with the intention of achieving a positive outcome for both parties. Ensure all feedback information is provided to the relevant departmental stakeholders.

• Perform a key role in the Emergency Response Team.

What you'll bring:

• Must have fulfilled the role of Guest Services Host for a minimum of 6 months

• Must have Provide First Aid and CPR qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office

• Must have a thorough knowledge of the park's attractions, facilities, operational and ERT procedures.

• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• Must have a high level of problem-solving abilities

• Must be detail orientated and have time management skills
