We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our maintenance team, servicing multiple locations across Victoria - Metro and Regional . This is a hands-on role requiring both independent work and teamwork across a range of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to complete carpentry tasks accurately

Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, doors, partitions, and cabinetry

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools

Ensure all work is completed to project specifications, building codes, and WHS standards

Perform general maintenance and property repairs on residential and commercial sites

Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly

Provide accurate quotes for minor carpentry or general maintenance works when required

Collaborate with team members and other trades to deliver quality results on time

Complete all required documentation, including photos and service reports using mobile systems

Skills & Experience :

Qualified Carpenter (preferred) or extensive hands-on carpentry experience

Proficiency in reading plans and carrying out a variety of construction and repair tasks

Experience working in residential, commercial, or facilities maintenance environments

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Solid understanding of WHS practices and ability to maintain safe work environments

Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-facing attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader trade team

Confident using mobile apps or digital platforms to manage work orders and reporting

Minimum Criteria :

Valid Driver's Licence (mandatory)

Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights, and EWP Licence (preferred)

Ability to obtain high-security clearances such as ASIC if required

COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations or willingness to comply with health requirements
