We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Restoration Carpenter to join our team. Our focus is on delivering exceptional restoration services across greater Victoria.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in reconstructing and renovating damaged properties with precision and care.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials including wood, drywall, and fixtures.
- Repair and replace damaged structures and components, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Install and repair cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and other fixtures.
- Collaborate with restoration technicians, project managers, and subcontractors as part of a team effort.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction or restoration industry.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and techniques.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred.
- Own tools and equipment required for the job.
