About The Role

Manage the day to day operations of the Budget and Resources team. This includes leading the delivery of best practice budget and resource allocation practices including the provision of high-level financial and budget management services, financial reporting, resource allocation and delivery of financial services across the Department including to schools, child safety and youth justice operations.

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - ASAP Start date

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience holding financial management positions within a Government context.
