What You'll Be Doing
  • Take charge of the daily diary of removal activities, ensuring every job is scheduled seamlessly and every client is kept informed.
  • Keep our systems up to date by recording bookings in AMOS, manual diaries, and on the operational whiteboard.
  • Stay ahead of the game by making sure the next day's work is scheduled, with all clients contacted by 4:00 pm.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by conducting exit calls for removals happening each day.
  • Support our drivers by preparing and distributing run sheets & labels, and ensuring they are fully briefed.
  • Take ownership of allocating containers, vehicles, labour, storage, and handling aids to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Handle telephone bookings from External Sales Consultants and the Sales Centre when required.
  • Play a pivotal role in maximising productivity and resource utilisation within the depot.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Corporate Account Sales teams to ensure accurate volume adjustments post-uplift, including packing details.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our team by promptly reporting any accidents to the Operations Manager.
  • Engage in regular operations meetings and contribute ideas that drive improvement.
  • Embrace our Together in Quality programme by submitting improvement ideas and actively participating in the Quality Action Team.
  • Take on any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager to support the success of the team.
