Make a Difference in Aged Care: Join Us as a Direct Care Attendant (Residential)

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents? We are seeking multiple casual Direct Care Attendants to join our compassionate team at the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network in Loxton. This position is available up to 6 March 2026, with roles in WHA3 or WHA4 classifications.

Position Details:

  • Casual roles with a salary of $29.11 - $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading (WHA3) or $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading (WHA4)
  • Multiple positions available

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in direct client services and supporting residents' well-being
  • Recording observations and completing documentation as per policies
  • Providing diversional therapy and assessing individual resident needs
  • Supporting residents with daily activities to ensure they feel valued and cared for

Essential Criteria:

  • Completed AQF Certificate III in a relevant field
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience in caring for elderly, frail, or disabled individuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Applicant Requirements:

  • Appointment subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and immunisation requirements
  • DHS NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Certificate for roles involving contact with vulnerable groups
  • Immunisation Category A
