Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and supporting residents in a residential care home? We are looking for a dedicated Direct Care Attendant (Residential) to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play an integral role in improving the lives of residents while working alongside a skilled team of health professionals.

About the Role:

As a Direct Care Attendant (Residential), you will assist in delivering direct client services to residents of the Residential Care Home. You will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and closely collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided. Your role involves supporting residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, and fostering a respectful and dignified environment. You will be an essential part of the care team, helping to ensure the well-being and comfort of the residents every day.

What We're Looking For:

WHA4

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field.
  • Experience dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons.
  • Experience using computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.

  • Immunisation Risk for this position is Category A
