About our Client

We are currently partnering with a NSW State Government agency delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This program is focused on modernising enterprise platforms to improve automation, integration, and performance across critical systems.

As part of this transformation, we are seeking multiple Oracle EPM Technical Specialists across two key streams: EDM Developer and Groovy Developer.

Role 1: Oracle EDM Developer

Role Purpose

As an EDM Developer, you will deliver and support complex Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions integrated with Oracle Fusion, Fusion Data Intelligence, and other enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end development across analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring seamless data governance and integration across systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support Oracle EDM solutions, including managing connections, viewpoints, subscriptions, and governance workflows.
  • Build and maintain integrations with RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Deliver automation using SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Curl, or Perl.
  • Apply hands-on expertise in ODI to create packages, scenarios, and load plans.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure EDM solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) including governance, workflow, and integration.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Curl, or Perl.
  • Proven ability to deliver architecture and integration design across enterprise platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Nice to have: experience in EPM budgeting & forecasting, Narrative Reporting, and Agile delivery environments.
Role 2: Oracle EPM Groovy Developer

Role Purpose

As an EPM Groovy Developer, you will deliver and support complex EPM solutions with a focus on Groovy scripting, Essbase, and Oracle Planning applications. You will play a key role in building and optimising integrations, automations, and performance tuning within enterprise-scale EPM platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support Groovy business rules and scripts within Oracle EPM applications.
  • Develop and optimise Essbase calc scripts, Hyperion business rules, and rule sets.
  • Work extensively with EPM Automate commands, Essbase tuning, MDX rules, and member formulas.
  • Deliver integrations using RESTful APIs and JSON across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Utilise ODI to build packages, scenarios, and load plans.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver robust EPM solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Expert-level experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
  • Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting, Essbase calc scripts, Hyperion Business Rules, and Rule Sets.
  • Expertise in EPM Automate, MDX rules, Essbase performance tuning, and Data Exchange.
  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting tools (Unix Shell, Curl, Perl).
  • Nice to have: experience in Narrative Reporting and Agile delivery environments.
