We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional with experience in Parking and Ground Transport to join our dynamic team in Darwin. In this role, you'll be responsible for maximising the capital value and net income from the car parking and ground transport assets across Darwin, Alice Springs, and Tennant Creek Airports. This is a key leadership opportunity to shape the future of ground access for multiple airports, working within a progressive and commercially focused environment.
About the PositionAs the Asset Manager = Parking and Ground Transport, you'll take the lead on procurement and contract negotiations for transport and parking operators, ensuring that all agreements comply with ADG's legal and governance frameworks. A core part of your role will be to define, track, and report on key performance indicators related to customer experience, safety, and operational efficiency utilising tools such as PCI DSS-aligned payment audits and performance dashboards. Each year, you will develop a data-informed asset strategy that includes a SWOT analysis, income forecasting, benchmarking against peer airports, and long-term capex planning.
You'll have a hands-on role in shaping the parking product suite, including both drive-up and online offerings. You'll analyse booking behaviours, craft marketing strategies, and measure their impact on revenue and customer behaviour. Building strong relationships will be key - you'll work closely with internal teams, transport providers, and B2B clients to enhance accessibility and ensure ADG remains a trusted and compliant operator. From overseeing real-time analytics infrastructure to sponsoring capital upgrades and guiding a high-performing team, you'll play a strategic and operational role in ensuring safe, efficient, and future-ready ground transport services.
Selection CriteriaYou bring a wealth of experience in asset strategy and management, particularly in car parking and ground transport operations across multiple sites. You're confident in overseeing complex contracts and third-party operator partnerships, and your ability to balance commercial priorities with excellent service delivery has been proven across your career. Your strategic mindset is backed by your analytical capabilities - you know how to interpret data trends, measure performance, and turn insights into action.
As a people leader, you support your team's growth through mentoring, collaboration, and open communication. You're comfortable working with marketing and customer insight functions, using research to improve product offerings and customer experience. Your approach to problem-solving combines creativity with evidence-based thinking, and you communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You\'re proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel or Power BI, and bring a confident, professional approach to negotiation and relationship-building. A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
