The Technical Assistant will join the ZERO Molecular Profiling Team, working closely alongside existing Technical Assistants and Research Assistant, and will take responsibility for patient sample processing, preparation, submission and data tracking for genomic analysis. This role is vital in supporting the reporting of molecular findings for patients in a clinically relevant timeframe. It requires excellent teamwork, meticulous attention to detail and close adherence to deadlines so that patient test results can be provided in a timely manner.

To succeed you will have…

• Tertiary qualifications in science or relevant laboratory processing experience
• 1+ years relevant laboratory experience
• Experience with molecular biology techniques
• Experience with handling patient samples is highly desirable
• Highly skilled in communications and must be capable of always maintaining a professional demeanour
• Must be sufficiently skilled to work in an independent manner as well as able to work within a team environment
