Role Overview

Designworks, a leading brand management company in Australia and New Zealand, manages design, development, production, and marketing for a diverse portfolio of brands including Everlast, Umbro, Ed Hardy, Volley, Bluey, and The Wiggles. We are seeking a talented Apparel Designer specializing in Womenswear & Girlswear to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design trend-driven collections, select fabrics, and manage the entire design process.
  • Collaborate with offshore suppliers, manage budgets, and ensure samples meet expectations.
  • Develop Range Books and Boards, coordinate sample deliveries, and support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Licensed Sports Apparel Design.
  • Strong understanding of colour theory, textile construction, garment fit, and manufacturing.
  • Experience in range planning and aligning designs with financial goals.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
