Now, we're looking for an FX & Treasury Dealer to join our team in Australia and take charge of liquidity, foreign exchange, and financial risk management. You'll be at the core of our FX & treasury function, ensuring we have the liquidity to power instant payments, execute and managing FX risk, and optimising cash flow strategies.

What You'll Do

Liquidity & Cash Flow Management

  • Maintain optimal liquidity to support real-time customer transactions
  • Execute proactive cash management strategies to maximise efficiency and returns.
  • Execute and manage foreign exchange activity for customers
  • Manage foreign exchange exposure and implement hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk.
  • Confidently trade spot, forwards, swaps, and NDFs across a broad range of currencies.
  • Monitor financial risks, including liquidity and market risks, ensuring robust risk controls.
  • Ensure smooth and timely settlements across multiple banking and payment networks.
  • Oversee reconciliation processes and work closely with finance teams to maintain operational integrity.

Banking & Liquidity Partners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, liquidity providers, and counterparties, optimising for both price and long-term partnerships.
  • Own execution relationships and drive negotiations to achieve best pricing and execution efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to APRA and other appropriate regulatory regulations, maintaining full compliance within treasury operations.
  • Work alongside compliance teams to align treasury functions with legal and financial standards.
  • Deploy surplus funds into low-risk, high-efficiency investments that align with Bolt's risk appetite.
  • Support asset management execution, including bonds and MMFs, to optimise cash reserves.
  • Continuously assess and refine treasury strategies to maximise financial performance.

Platform and Technology

  • Taking ownership and propose updates and upgrades to our dealing approach, policies, controls and systems
  • Represent Bolt in the market, building strong relationships with prospective customers, partners, and institutional clients.
  • Distribute Bolt's treasury and FX solutions to businesses, demonstrating how our cutting-edge technology can optimize their financial operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings based on customer needs.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in FX dealing, treasury, or financial risk management within fintech, banking, or a regulated financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and APRA regulations.
  • Expertise in foreign exchange markets and the ability to trade confidently in high-flow environments.
  • A strategic mindset with experience in change environments, optimising trading processes, and implementing automation for risk management and funding strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to leverage financial data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
