As Director of Retail, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Petstock Groups strategy across our network in Australia and New Zealand, leading talented teams across Marketing, Merchandise, Store Development Pet Health and Retail Operations.

In this role, you will be tasked with shaping and delivering Petstock Groups future retail and merchandising strategy, with a major focus being accelerating our digital growth through e‑commerce, loyalty, and marketplace channels, while strengthening brand recognition and expanding market share.

Your contribution to our growth…

• Shape and deliver Petstock Groups future retail and merchandising strategy, with a strong focus on digital growth through e‑commerce, loyalty, and marketplace channels.
• Building and leading high‑impact commercial partnerships, driving supplier collaboration and value creation across Australia and New Zealand.
• Providing strategic oversight of core business functions; Marketing, Merchandise, Store Development, Pet Health, and Retail Operations, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.
• Championing innovation to simplify processes, enhance productivity, and create outstanding experiences for customers and team members.
• Taking accountability for business performance, delivering strong outcomes across Sales, EBIT, VOC, VOT, stock loss, and safety.
• Inspiring and empowering teams through transparent, values‑driven leadership, fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and customer‑first culture.

• A proven track record as a senior retail leader, delivering strong commercial outcomes and sustainable growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to expand market share, enhance customer value, and improve efficiencies through strategic innovation.
• Proven success in developing and executing innovative omnichannel retail and merchandising strategies that deliver measurable customer impact.
• Strong alignment with a family‑centred culture, embracing transparency, personal service, and authentic connections with colleagues, customers and their pets.
• A warm, authentic leadership style that builds trust, strengthens relationships, and reflects Petstock Groups heritage and ethos.
• An entrepreneurial and agile approach, balancing innovation with operational discipline, and thriving as part of a high‑performing executive team.
