Are you a qualified Level 1 Building Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established national building consultancy that is looking to appoint a QLD State Lead to oversee and grow their Brisbane operations.

This is a rare leadership opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy that combines technical excellence with a modern, flexible working culture. With a strong pipeline of work and a highly reputable team nationally, you will be instrumental in driving project delivery, client relationships, and team growth across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Queensland team across a diverse portfolio of building surveying projects
  • Act as the technical authority on all compliance and certification matters as a Level 1 Building Surveyor
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Support national strategy while growing the local presence in Brisbane
  • Oversee performance, mentorship, and professional development of team members

About You:

  • Accredited Level 1 Building Surveyor (QBCC)
  • Proven experience in consultancy-based building surveying
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams or projects
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Driven, proactive, and looking to shape the future of a growing practice
