We're looking for a seasoned Construction Manager to take the lead on overseeing the design and installation of powerlines. Working closely with our project delivery teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient execution and maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight across the project, while working closely with project teams to monitor performance, remove roadblocks, and drive successful execution.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and proactively resolve issues.
  • Support the implementation of detailed construction plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring works are executed in accordance with WHS policies and site-specific procedures.
  • Oversee daily site operations where required, including subcontractor performance, materials, logistics, and interface coordination.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and commercial outcomes, escalating and resolving delays or emerging risks.
  • Guide and mentor site-based teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in constructability reviews, risk assessments, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the workforce planning and resource mobilisation strategies.
About You

Proven experience in a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Supervisor role within the electrical or infrastructure sectors, ideally in mining or renewables. Bring a deep understanding of electrical construction and commissioning principles, including HV/LV, substations, or power distribution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and support multiple projects simultaneously across geographically diverse locations.
  • Strong commercial, safety, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Trade qualification, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with tier 1 operators or EPC contractors is highly desirable.
