Senior Manager Operations - Community Connection and Wellbeing

Position details- Full Time Permanent Position
- Classification: Senior Management Remuneration Level 1 with a salary range of $136,008 - $163,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time) + Superannuation
- Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay
- Location: Strathpine QLD 4500; remote or hybrid working arrangements considered
The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for the operational oversight and responsibility for a cluster of programs, including contract management and reporting, funder and core relationships management, resource management, program staffing and leadership; service implementation, quality, safety, practice and consumer experience, critical incident and complex case support, team and staff development, governance, continuous improvement, portfolio growth and development and sector advocacy. Neami expects leaders to uphold a positive culture, deliver high quality services, and support high performing teams through coaching, mentoring and supervision. The role also involves regulatory and organisational compliance, service development and sector leadership. The role is responsible for elevating and strengthening lived experience, diversity and inclusion, and quality cultural leadership and governance in everything we do.

- Formal tertiary qualification in Human Services or related field and/or relevant experience
- Understanding of recovery-based psychosocial supports
- Experience in Trauma Informed Practice in outreach, home-based and community settings
- Understanding of determinants of health and health promotion
- Experience working with public/state mental health sectors
- Experience developing services for priority populations (First Nations, young people, LGBTIQ+, CALD)
- Values-based behavior and strategic leadership with staff management experience
- Ability to provide workforce support and development
- Commitment to sustainable leadership and continuous quality and safety improvement
- Understanding of work health and safety obligations
- National Criminal History Check (disclosable outcomes considered)
- Current Working with Children Check before commencement
- Australian working rights
- Capacity to drive or access to a car
