The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Service Support Assistant to join the Children and Family Services team. The successful candidate will provide key clerical support, improve data quality, and assist in a variety of administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, taking minutes, and supporting the delivery of essential services to families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update information management systems.
  • Provide high-quality customer care via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Support data quality initiatives and handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Organise meetings, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics for events.
  • Assist colleagues with urgent tasks and contribute to team efforts.
What the Client is Looking for
  • Experience in administrative support, ideally in a public sector or Children and Family Services setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible approach to work, including the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
