Your Role

We are seeking a full-time Operations Support Lead on a 12-month, fixed-term contract to join our high-performing Operations Support team.

You will play a critical role in coordinating the delivery of seamless support across our football competitions, programs, and events. Working closely with the Operations Support Manager, you'll lead by example – supporting our team, uplifting customer experience, and driving cultural and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer & Competition Support : Act as an escalation point for complex customer and club enquiries via phone and email

Operations Coordination : Oversee day-to-day administration for competitions – including registrations, fixturing, results, and disciplinary processes

Event & Program Delivery : Lead logistics planning and coordination for community, participation, and talent development events

Team Training & Coaching : Support the training and upskilling of Operations Support Officers to ensure capability and consistency across the team

Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with clubs, associations, and key community stakeholders, providing proactive support and guidance

Process Improvement : Collaborate on system and process reviews, drive efficiencies, and provide input into broader strategic projects

About You

You are an experiences operations or customer support professional who thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments. You're a natural mentor, calm under pressure, and confident managing stakeholder relationships.

You bring :

Demonstrated experience in customer service

Strong administrative and organisation skills

Confidence in phone and email communication with a wide range of stakeholders

Experience in training or coaching others

Background in sport or events coordination, desirable but not essential

What You'll Need to Succeed

Eligibility to work in Australia

A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

A current Driver's Licence

A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
