Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Head of Operations to lead the strategic and day-to-day operational performance of our power station, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop operation teams.
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, driving efficiency improvements and plant performance optimisation.
  • Deliver operational and contractual targets effectively within agreed budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
  • Significant previous experience within the Power generation industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field) or relevant trade qualification.
  • Deep technical understanding of thermal power generation processes and systems.
  • Previous experience in a senior operations or plant management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of operational safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Reside locally within a 1 hour drive of Collie Power Station.
