About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the further development and delivery of GM3's payroll function. You'll play a key role in shaping the end-to-end payroll system, managing a high-performing team, and supporting a culture of operational discipline and continuous improvement. Post the recent successful implementation of Success Factors, this role will further embed and improve on processes and service standards.

This role can be based in Brisbane or Wollongong, and sits at the intersection of HR, technology, and compliance.

About You

This is an ideal role for a confident and capable leader, who thrives in highly dynamic environments. You will enjoy the strategic aspects of the role and also thrive on the operational aspects of the role – this will suit those who are very 'hands on' managers.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
  • Leading payroll teams and managing end-to-end delivery
  • Driving change initiatives and stakeholder engagement
  • Navigating complex compliance and payroll governance
  • Managing payroll runs for over 1000 employees
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP / Success Factors is essential for this role
  • Building team culture, performance and service excellence
