About the role

As aTeam Coordinator at#TeamMB, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling The Foundry - Maurice Blackburn's dedicated innovation division.

Maurice Blackburn has a bold ambition to redefine the way legal services are delivered in Australia, reimagining what justice means in a modern, digital and inclusive society. To deliver on this ambition, we established The Foundry to drive transformation through new business models, new partnerships and new capabilities.

In this role, you'll support the Chief Growth Officer and Foundry leadership team with executive assistance, portfolio management, workshop coordination, and strategic communications. You'll also help amplify The Foundry's impact by role modelling the use of emerging technologies, particularly AI and low-code/no-code tools, to enhance operational efficiency and demonstrate innovation in action across the organisation.

The experience we are looking for

  • Passion for emerging technologies, especially AI tools and automation
  • Interest or experience in low-code/no-code platforms and workflow optimisation
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to improve operational efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing stakeholders and coordinating meetings, workshops or events
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence presenting to different audiences
  • Curious and proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and alignment with Maurice Blackburn's purpose
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in administration, innovation, tech or project coordination
  • Willingness to pursue training or certifications in emerging technologies
  • Interest in developing toward future roles such as Product Owner
  • Ongoing coaching and career development opportunities
  • 22 Weeks Parental leave with your superannuation guaranteed and back-to-work transition policy
  • End of Year leave, 1 day first year, 4 days after 2 years
