Job Description

• 2-year fixed-term opportunity based at our Mascot Head Office, supporting QantasLink Engineering's commercial success

As a Senior Commercial Analyst within QantasLink Engineering, you'll play a key role in supporting the growth and commercial success of our regional engineering operations. This is a highly analytical and moderately technical role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving commercial outcomes.

Your New Role

• Support the design, negotiation and implementation of engineering contracts, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Lead financial and performance analysis to support contract renegotiations and business improvement initiatives.
• Manage aspects of the RFP process, including documentation, stakeholder engagement and supplier evaluation.
• Provide competitor analysis and insights to inform strategic planning.
• Assist in the development and evaluation of business cases for ongoing initiatives and ad hoc projects.
• Ensure compliance with Qantas Group safety and governance policies, acting as a safety leader within the team.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Engineering or Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
• Experience in procurement or a business background is advantageous.
• Aviation, airline, or aerospace industry experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to evaluate strategic alternatives and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, independent and collaborative approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
