Your new role

As the Senior Procurement and Contract Administrator, you will provide expert procurement advice and contract administration services for high-value and high/medium-risk contracts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring contract performance and compliance.
  • Supporting business-led sourcing activities.
  • Advising on procurement frameworks and supplier arrangements.
  • Drafting contract variations and extensions.
  • Building procurement capability across the organisation.
  • Contributing to governance, risk management, and strategic planning.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity through to 28 November 2025, based in Brisbane CBD, with flexible work arrangements available.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in procurement and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of Queensland Government procurement frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High-level analytical and report-writing capabilities.
  • Procurement Certification Level 3 (highly regarded).

You will also be subject to a criminal history check and, if applicable, a serious disciplinary action check.
