About The Role
  • Lead and manage our Sterile Processing Centre, ensuring safe, high-quality sterilisation services across campuses.
  • Oversee staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance to build a strong, engaged team.
  • Drive compliance, quality standards, audits, and reporting in line with NSW Health requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-focused outcomes.
  • Championing a positive safety culture while improving processes and driving service excellence
About You
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Services and strong knowledge of AS5369:2023 standards
  • Hands-on experience supervising teams to ensure safe, compliant processing of reusable medical instruments and equipment
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, support and develop staff
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet KPIs, manage reporting, and drive service improvements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety, professional development and continuous improvement

About The Hospital

In this role you will be based at St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst. A busy inner-city hospital in a beautiful location, surrounded by cafes, galleries, theatres, parks, nightlife, and nearby beaches. A place of expert clinical care for at-risk people. Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, on-campus. Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health.
