About the Role
Based in Townsville, this senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, improving margins, and expanding market share across a significant regional portfolio. You will lead and develop a team of Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure customer satisfaction through strategic engagement and exceptional service delivery. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership and customer involvement, offering genuine influence over the region's commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and budget targets
  • Drive share-of-wallet growth within existing customers and secure new business opportunities
  • Oversee pricing, tendering, and commercial negotiations for major accounts and projects
  • Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the region
  • Maintain robust sales pipelines and forward order book to support business growth
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to deliver innovative customer solutions
  • Champion customer advocacy and ensure safety standards are upheld at all times

Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership, ideally within industrial, construction, or related sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
  • Experience in managing multi-site sales teams and large revenue portfolios
  • Skilled in pricing strategy, tender management, and major account negotiations
  • Advanced communication, coaching, and performance management capabilities
  • Proficiency with sales systems and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or sales are highly regarded
