We are seeking an experienced Assistant Dairy Farm Manager to join our well-established corporate dairy farm in Northern Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and capable individual who can support the Farm Manager in all aspects of modern dairy operations.

About the Role:

You will be an all-rounder with a strong understanding of both dairy herd management and feed production. Alongside hands-on farm work, you will have the ability to take on key administrative and organisational duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

About You:

  • Proven experience in dairy farming (preferably in a large or corporate farm setting)
  • Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written
  • Knowledge of feed production and pasture management
  • Competent with computers and farm management software
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily dairy operations, herd health, milking, and feed management
  • Oversee and participate in feed growing and pasture management
  • Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stocktakes
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, arrange invoices, and manage farm office documents
  • Use farm management and inventory systems effectively
  • Support the Farm Manager with planning, reporting, and staff coordination
