We're looking for a highly capable Finance Manager / Senior Financial Accountant to step into a newly created, standalone position within our commercial team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll have full ownership of our finance function—managing everything from financial reporting and compliance to tax, payroll, and budgeting.

This is not your typical corporate finance role. There are no international time zones to juggle, no red tape, and no layered approval chains. Instead, you'll be empowered to make a real impact every day in a collaborative, locally-owned business that's committed to ethical practices and environmental sustainability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the full accounting function across multiple entities using Pronto

Preparing and presenting timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports

Handling BAS, income tax compliance, and annual budgeting

Managing all payroll related compliance (super, WorkCover, payroll tax)

Owning the Fixed Assets Register, accruals, and general ledger

Supporting the annual R&D Tax claim and working with external tax agents and auditors

Providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making

You're a confident, experienced financial professional (CPA qualified) who's hands-on, resourceful, and thrives in a standalone role. You enjoy working across the business (not just behind a spreadsheet) and you bring clarity and precision to everything you do.

You have:

Proven financial accounting experience, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing

A solid grasp of Pronto (or a similar ERP) and strong Excel skills

Excellent communication skills and business acumen

A proactive, improvement-focused mindset and the ability to work autonomously
