Customer Service Officer (Aboriginal Trainee) – Kleenheat, Murdoch, Western Australia
Kleenheat has an inclusive, supportive team focused on delivering exceptional customer service. This is a 12-month fixed-term traineeship based in Murdoch, with potential relocation to Perth CBD end of 2025. This opportunity is open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants, in accordance with Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
About the RoleAre you looking for a supportive environment to kickstart your career in customer service? Kleenheat is offering an exciting Aboriginal candidate traineeship to join our team as a Trainee Customer Service Officer. The one-year traineeship provides hands-on experience in a busy customer service environment while completing your Certificate III in Business. You will rotate through different parts of the customer service team and be mentored by professionals who will share their knowledge and support your career development.
What you will be doing- Work as part of a team to help ensure our customers have a great experience.
- Talk to customers by phone, email, or social media to assist with questions.
- Answer customer questions clearly and on time; help set up accounts, update details, or explain bills.
- Support other teams with simple administrative tasks when needed.
- Be keen to develop your communication skills.
- Be open to growing skills in problem-solving, numeracy, and time management.
- Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or be willing to learn.
- Be flexible with working hours; the Customer Service team operates rotating shifts between 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
