Overview

We currently have a rare opportunity for a Head of Product to join our team in Perth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all operational functions including registration, costing, transport, invoicing, and order management.
  • Ensure day-to-day tasks are undertaken and completed in line with the business and customer requirements.
  • Ensure the operations department delivers efficiencies through the use of business tools.
  • Complete end-to-end customer service functions, including liaison with relevant stakeholders locally, interstate and overseas.
  • Deliver specific goals related to customer intimacy, value creation, operational excellence and financial improvement.
  • Maintain operational stability with corrective action plans to address ongoing issues.
  • Monitor and report on a monthly basis the client performance and action plans where required.
  • Regularly review operational KPI's and ensure agreement and understanding from operations.
  • Work with the General Manager to create and implement strategies that support long-term business success.
  • Demonstrate strong awareness and understanding of financial management and cost controlling for customers.
  • Maintain SOPs and identify areas for improvement, proposing new solutions to the General Manager.
  • Ensure day-to-day tasks are aligned with business and customer requirements.
  • Ensure completion rates and DETI days meet company KPI's.
  • Responsible for Performance Development Appraisals of direct reports.
Skills and experience
  • Studies in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in supply chain and operational supervision.
  • Exceptional customer service and leadership capability.
  • Cargowise experience.
  • Financial and commercial knowledge.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion, initiative and drive to continually develop and service clients with creativity and innovation.
