Your Opportunity

Mission Australia Housing provides social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians, ensuring they have access to good quality housing that enables participation in their communities.

As we expand our housing portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic Mobilisation Manager to lead the operational mobilisation implementation of new housing growth projects. This pivotal role ensures new services are implemented effectively, on time, and to a high standard.

This role is crucial in embedding new projects into daily operations. It will collaborate with various teams across Mission Australia to ensure effective handover and smooth transition of Housing Growth initiatives into Operations.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the operational mobilisation implementation of housing growth projects
  • Develop and oversee operational mobilisation plans, timelines, and resource schedules
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met through proactive project management
  • Act as the central contact for stakeholders during mobilisation, facilitating communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage timelines, risks, and governance processes to ensure successful delivery
  • Support change management, communication, and workforce planning for new housing implementation
  • Monitor project progress, provide reporting, and embed continuous improvement
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements for Success

  • 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the social or community housing sector
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Housing, Social Services, or related fields
  • Formal training in project/program management is highly regarded
  • Proven track record in service implementation or operational mobilisation in housing, social services, or community sectors
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery experience
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in government-funded or regulated environments
  • Current driver's license
