Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is experiencing significant growth, and following recent internal promotions, we are seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding Bendigo team.
This fixed-term, part-time position (0.8 FTE to August 2027) is an exciting opportunity to contribute your payroll expertise in a dynamic, people-focused environment. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely payroll support to staff across our schools, ensuring compliance our agreement and payroll legislation.

- Classification: CEO Administration Level 4 (CEMEA 2022)
- Salary per year: $71,449.60
- FTE / Hours per fortnight:0.8 FTE / 60.8 hours per fortnight
- Employment Status: Fixed Term to Aug 2027
- Location: Bendigo
- Other Requirements: WWCC, National Police Check
About the Role
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis across multiple schools. This is a hands-on role where your knowledge of wage and salary calculations, staff entitlements, and employment conditions will be key to your success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing full-cycle payroll processing for multiple schools on a fortnightly basis
- Calculating staff entitlements including leave, overtime, and allowances
- Providing staff with accurate information on salaries and employment conditions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and payroll legislation

About The CESL Office
The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.
